Description

A Gilchrist orthosis is applied when an arm is no longer functional. This is precisely where most designs fall short: the patient needs assistance. The Tricodur Gilchrist Smart solves this problem with a hook-and-loop closure positioned centrally in front of the body—the patient can put on, fasten, and adjust the orthosis with one hand.

The closure emits an audible click to indicate that it is securely fastened; the strap system can also be adjusted with one hand. The upper arm is securely stabilized in an adduction position.
