The tesa Professional 4944 Extra-Strong Permanent Flooring Tape is a high-quality flooring tape with a fabric backing and a synthetic rubber adhesive, specially developed for the permanent installation of floor coverings. Thanks to its extra-strong adhesive strength, it is ideal for installing carpet, including needle-punched carpet, and ensures a secure and permanent bond even on textured carpet backs on most substrates. The tape can be torn by hand, is solvent-free, and offers excellent initial tack, good moisture and temperature resistance, as well as outstanding static shear strength at 40 °C. This makes it a reliable solution for professional indoor installation work where permanent adhesion is required.
