Description

This felt pad is highly abrasive and designed for use with grinding pastes. Its primary purpose is to be used with PROFILINE Glass Polish to remove scratches from real glass—a task for which a foam pad lacks sufficient grit.

Its second application is on paint: It is suitable for smoothing out orange peel, i.e., the wavy surface texture that can occur after painting. It works lint-free and scratch-free. The diameter is 127 mm, compatible with 125 mm backing plates; the hook-and-loop fastener allows for quick disc changes.

Position the polishing pad centrally, avoid overheating the area being polished, and never apply excessive pressure.
