Die Longetten-Ausführung von Platrix wird auf Länge zugeschnitten und als Schiene angelegt — für Teilruhigstellungen oder als Verstärkung eines zirkulären Verbands. Sie sind vierfach gelegt und bestehen aus demselben Material wie die Binde: Baumwollträger mit spezieller Naturgipsmischung.

Die Eigenschaften entsprechen der Platrix-Binde: ausgezeichnete Modellierbarkeit, minimierte Tauchverluste, optimale Konsistenz nach dem Tauchen und eine hohe Endfestigkeit schon bei wenigen Lagen. Das Material ist strahlend weiß.
