Description

In food processing, no bandage is allowed to enter the product unnoticed. Leukoplast detectable offers triple protection: a signal-blue contrasting color for visual inspection, embedded aluminum threads for metal detectors, and tungsten threads for X-ray inspection.

Blue was deliberately chosen—the color is virtually nonexistent in food products and therefore stands out immediately. The bandage consists of a non-adhesive wound dressing laminated with a polyethylene mesh; it is waterproof, breathable, conformable, and gentle on the skin.
