Beschreibung

Gelocast ist die starre Ausführung des Zink-Gel-Verbands: eine Mullbinde ohne Elastizität. Das Druckprofil ist charakteristisch für die Entstauungstherapie — geringer Ruhedruck, sehr hoher Arbeitsdruck. Die Kompression wirkt also vor allem bei Bewegung und fördert den venösen Rückstrom bis in die tiefen Leitvenen.

Weil die Binde starr ist, gibt sie beim Anlegen nicht nach; der Druck lässt sich damit exakter dosieren als mit einer elastischen Binde — was Erfahrung beim Wickeln voraussetzt. Gelocast besteht aus 100 % Baumwolle mit Zink-Gel auf Zellulosebasis.
