Description

Delta-Cast Elite is a fiberglass-free cast material made of elastic polyester knit fabric with water-activatable polyurethane resin. The elastic backing material ensures wrinkle-free application, even on difficult body parts such as the heel and elbow—thereby reducing the risk of pockets forming and, consequently, the risk of instability and pressure sores.

The lamination of the wrapped cast provides rigid, secure immobilization with low weight. The smooth surface is comfortable to wear and gentle on clothing. It is applied using standard examination gloves; the finished cast is radiolucent.
