Description

Delta-Cast Conformable is a synthetic support bandage for circular, removable cast bandages. The base material consists of highly elastic polyester knit fabric coated with a water-activatable polyurethane resin—it contains no glass fibers. Its high conformability helps prevent the formation of wrinkles and pockets, thereby preventing pressure points, especially in difficult areas such as the heel or elbow.

When applied in two to three layers, the material is suitable for functional cast therapy (FCT), where it combines stability with mobility. Its smooth unrolling action allows for even application, and the layers provide structural integrity even with just a few layers. Since the bandage is radiolucent, healing progress can be monitored without removing it.
