Beschreibung

Cutimed Siltec Sorbact B verbindet zwei Aufgaben in einem Verband: das Exsudatmanagement eines hochabsorbierenden Schaumverbands mit Silikon-Haftrand und die bakterienbindende Wirkung der Sorbact-Technologie.

Das Wirkprinzip ist rein physikalisch und kommt ohne antimikrobielle Wirkstoffe aus. Bakterien wie MRSA und VRE sowie Pilze binden sich auf natürliche Weise an die DACC-beschichtete Oberfläche und werden irreversibel festgehalten sowie im Wachstum gehemmt. Mit jedem Verbandwechsel sinkt so die Keimzahl in der Wunde. Weil keine Keime abgetötet werden, werden auch keine zusätzlichen Endotoxine freigesetzt, die die Heilung verzögern könnten.
