Description

Carpex carat features an extra-long nose clip. The reason is simple: Only a long clip can be shaped in such a way that exhaled air does not escape upward—and it is precisely this air that causes glasses to fog up for eyeglass wearers. Anyone who wears glasses in the operating room is familiar with this problem.

Carpex surgical masks are three-ply, made of nonwoven fabric, and comply with the EU standard EN 14683. The material does not shed fibers and resists pilling well during use—meaning it does not become fuzzy even after hours of wear. The Type I version provides a bacterial filtration efficiency of at least 95%.
