Description

The Actimove TaloCast AirGel is an anatomically shaped ankle brace with inflatable air cells and integrated gel pads. The air cells can be adjusted to accommodate swelling—as the edema subsides, the air cells are deflated rather than replacing the brace.

Inversion and eversion are restricted, i.e., lateral twisting; flexion and extension remain possible. This is the principle of functional therapy: dangerous movement is blocked, while movement that promotes healing is allowed. The foot section is individually adjustable, and the brace is available in two sizes.
