What do I use a fixation bandage for?

Use a fixing bandage to keep wound dressings and compresses in place. It is elastic, adapts to the body and hardly restricts mobility.

What does cohesive or adhesive mean for fixation bandages?

Cohesive bandages such as Peha-haft or Elastomull-haft only adhere to themselves, not to skin or hair. This means the bandage is less likely to slip and you don't need any staples or plasters to hold it in place.

What width do I need?

The width depends on the part of the body. Narrow bandages, for example 4 cm, are suitable for fingers and hands, wider bandages such as 10 cm for arm, leg or head.

Can I use a fixation bandage multiple times?

Fixing bandages are usually intended as a disposable product for wound care. If the bandage has come into contact with wound secretions, you should not use it again.
