The B. Braun Safsite® security connector or luer cone of syringes or infusion cables was designed in such a way that it opens automatically during the connection and also automatically closes during deconnection. This innovative function makes it particularly suitable for a variety of medical applications. It is used for the administration of medication and blood samples and is also suitable for administering infusion solutions. These properties ensure safe and efficient handling in clinical situations, minimize the risk of contamination and facilitate medical staff in their everyday work.
